Let’s move on to the ceremony which was held at the beautiful Cielos Garden! A small intimate gathering of family and friends witnessed their joyful, tear filled vows!

After the ceremony, guests followed the newly married couple through the wooded trails to the reception location! The tent was decked out in an unreal amount of DIY galore! Robyn and her mom spent months collecting vintage fabrics and mismatched china! Every table was graced with beautiful floral napkins, pretty plates, centre pieces with home grown greenery, and each table featured a unique set of vintage salt & pepper shakers! So fun! There really were to many details for me to name so you’ll just have to have a look through the pictures! I have to mention that Robyn made all the name plates where she burnt the names into the wood and stamped them all! For take home favours, they laid out a beautiful table with pretty boxes and little bags for guests to fill with a tea of their choice!

I especially loved the quilt hanging behind the head table! The same quilt we used in their engagement session which she purchased from my niece Rachelle! A little brag here; check out her quilts –> Serenity by Rachelle

Upon arrival the guests were treated with a variety of popcorn, made by family members! Honestly the best Chicago mix popcorn I’ve ever tasted! The delicious all vegetarian meal was served by Urban Prairie Cuisine! Followed by a gorgeous array of cakes and pies! All the pies in a jar were homemade by Robyn and family & friends! YUM!

It was a fun, relaxed setting for the guests! While some danced the night away, others opted to play lawn games on a beautiful summer evening!

As Mark & I were about to pull away, we  noticed we’d get a few minutes of that magical golden light the couple had really wanted to be photographed in! We rushed back, grabbed the two of them and planted them in a field along with millions of mosquitos! But just a few minutes was all we needed! A perfect ending to their day!

I hope you enjoyed seeing the wedding as much as we enjoyed the day with Ronnie & Robyn!!

xoxo
