Just a few iPhone pics documenting the fact that I finally climbed a mountain to a 1938 fire lookout!

The hike was more difficult than anticipated. But considering it was very hot and horrible air quality, I’m proud we powered through. (esp for my prairie legs)

The lookout is at an elevation of approx 4,50o ft. The hike was 7.2 mile round trip with a 2,000 ft elevation. I walked away with only 1 blister haha.

My next goal; hike back up and spend a night! Can you imagine watching the sunset, night sky and sunrise from up here?

Thanks Hannah, Nicholas, and Zachary for the fabulous company!

Stay tuned, maybe I’ll get around to blogging some pics from my big camera.
