Lloyd & Sarah had their ceremony at Assiniboine Park. The thunder threatened and raindrops started but that didn’t stop them from saying their “I do’s” in front of close friends and family! How can you not love a barefoot bride in the park?

Enjoy this lengthy post!

After the rain cleared up we were able to head back outside for some more pictures in the lush greens of the park!

Lloyd & Sarah’s wedding was recently featured in Wedding Bells! In print and on their website!

Here is an excerpt from the feature:

For their wedding day, Sarah and Lloyd wanted their day to be mellow but still elegant. Their venue was comprised of big bright windows overlooking a park and duck pond. The couple was so mesmerized by the beautiful surroundings that they chose neutral colours to complement the venue.  “We incorporated a fun chevron pattern in grey and white in our table runners and stationery,” Sarah explains. “We thought it would keep things from looking too monochromatic. We added some pops of mint in our bridesmaids’ dresses, stationery and table décor for a touch of colour too.”

Just a few highlights of the reception; Thom Bargen served lattes, the couple’s first dance to the groom’s brother Randy playing on his guitar, line dancing and just hanging out with great friends.

All the best Lloyd & Sarah!!!
