If you haven’t seen Part 1 of this wedding, please do so here!
Steve & Georgia are a very adventurous couple! Spending their free time going back packing and enjoying the great outdoors! Their goal was to bring that outdoor, rustic theme into the wedding. Hence the location they picked was perfect! Georgia put her whole heart into the decorations and everything was DIY (do-it-yourself)! I have always loved these types of weddings, it just makes it that much more personable and down to earth!
Here is a peek at the gorgeous set up inside the tent!
One end of the tent featured a colourful candy bar; with little stamped bags for guests to fill up with candy!
Also an antique chandelier hanging from a branch above the mismatched teacups & saucers for coffee or tea.
The food was completely amazing! Catered by Bistro 7 1/4 located in Osborne Village. Starting with a cocktail hour featuring a caesar bar (which was a huge hit), cheese platter, mini grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup shooters, lamb and almond meatballs! Just to name a few. Dinner started with a choice of 3 salads, sides of grilled asparagus with roasted garlic & shaved parmesan and fingerling potatoes! The main dish consisted of grilled Manitoba trout and chicken with wild mushrooms & leeks. Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is all over again!
As the sun was setting, Mark & I snuck out with the newly married couple for a quick photo session in that glorious evening light!
Thank you Steve & Georgia for inviting us to be a part of your wonderful day!
