Good afternoon friends!
So while a lot of fellow Manitobans are stuck due to a spring snow storm; I invite you to grab some coffee, sit back and enjoy this “Life at Home” session with Darren & Allison and their adorable children!
While Allison is a veterinarian and a busy mother, her and husband Darren also own and run a large dairy farm! They built this gorgeous home on the farm recently and invited me in to capture an evening with them! Starting with finger licking good cookie dough and some story and play time! The baby & farm animal prints throughout the house were perfection!

It was a gorgeous evening out so we went for a little walk and introduced me to their sweet 16 year old cow, Janna! Allison pretty much grew up with Janna and I loved that she took her with them to their new home!
We ended the evening with cookies and fresh milk from a cooler in the barn!
Cleaning up spills, a little dance party and walking practice with baby!
Thank you Darren & Allison for opening your home to me! Your family is gorgeous and I look forward to seeing the kiddos grow up!

would you mind sharing???…when you shoot a lifestyle session such as this, ballpark about how long you’re there with the family.
i feel like either i love to take a long time because i could capture young families and their moments all day …but perhaps do some families want these done in much shorter period?
any tips are wonderful!!
