Here are some film images from my trip to California in April 2019.

I made a silly mistake (which I’ll never make again) and forgot placement of film while travelling. NEVER send your film through checked luggage! As a result it ruined a lot of my film and I had to do some extensive post processing to salvage the scans. I guess this means I need to go back in April and reshoot the flower fields in Carlsbad 🙂

California was in bloom and it was spectacular! Visiting the flower fields in Carlsbad has been a long time dream of mine. The fields of ranunculus (my fav flower) bloom from March – mid May so the timing was perfect! The goal was to gather a bunch of images for my print shop. Let me know if you see anything you’d love to hang on your walls!

The Laguna beaches are always a fav of mine. This time I also visited Crystal Cove State Park and loved all the cliffs and fields covered in yellow flowers!

I hope you enjoyed this little tour of California through my lens!
