Here we go; on to part 2 of Brett & Bethy’s wedding!

(see part 1 here)

Everything about this wedding was DIY, and I would expect nothing else from the very creative Bethy! The ceremony and reception were held at her parents’ beautiful farm thats loaded with character and a barn full of antiques!

And how amazing are these programs? Bethy’s mother painted the barn picture and all the illustrations. Love!

Guests followed hand painted signs to a beautiful spot behind the barn where the ceremony took place. Seated on quilt covered hay bales, they watched the couple say their “I do’s” under an arch decorated with bright fall leaves.

After the ceremony, guests were greeted in front of the barn with delicious hot apple cider! Which tasted extra amazing on a brisk fall day!

There was also a s’mores station and a crackling fire to warm up those cold hands!

Brett + Elisabeth = B.E.

Hence the theme; BE in love, BE content, BE happy!

After climbing the stairs to the barn loft, my jaw practically dropped to the floor! I’ve dreamed of shooting a barn wedding for a long time! The family spent hours up in the loft prepping for the big day! All the long harvest tables were made from barn wood planks specifically for this event! Decorated with chevron print table runners, paint dipped bottles for vases, golden chargers, mismatched china, and cutlery dipped in pink paint! I especially loved the pretty hanker-chiefs and gold painted farm animals with name tags! String patio lights and gold coloured bunting twinkled overhead, adding the perfect touch!

Now for the “sweetheart” table! The bride & groom were seated at the front of the barn at this beautiful little pink shabby chic table! Complete with a pretty ruffled arrow cake, monogramed Anthro mugs,  and a crown for the bride. And yes, those are hundreds of gold paper clips hooked together and strung around the front of the table! Hanging behind them were beautiful gold framed mirrors and of course their initials; “B.E. in love”.

That wraps up the detail section of this wedding! Brett & Bethy and family; you did an amazing job with the decor! And I’m so thankful I could be there to capture the end result of all your hard work!

And yes, there will be a part 3 to this wedding! I’m saving the best for last; a magical session with the newly weds as the sun was setting. Stay tuned for that!
