Here is part 2 of Amber & Nathan’s wedding!
See part 1 here.
Amber’s friend Sam Giesbrecht designed their wedding invitations! I loved the screen printing along with creative use of paper doilies and stamps!
For a photo backdrop, they ripped pages out of a botanical book and pinned them up. I loved the fresh, fun effect!
With so much DIY goodness in this wedding, I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking!
Long tables where set with mismatched china, teacups, and silverware. On each setting was placed a small jar of canned apple butter with cute printed labels! Doilies and burlap strips were used as table runners. For centre pieces a huge assortment of medicine and vintage bottles were placed on trays and filled with baby’s breath, peonies, ranunculus, roses and doily flowers! It was a breath taking and wonderfully unique arrangement.
A very talented relative baked and decorated the beautiful cake with sugar peonies and fabric strips!
I absolutely loved all the wooden crates stacked up in front of the head table! They too were stashed with misc bottles, flowers and soft coloured candles.
The pie & cookie table looked delicious! Homemade pies and soft coloured frosting on the cookies.
Thank you Nathan & Amber for inviting us to be a part of your beautiful and joy filled day!
xoxo
So many lovely details. This is probably one of the best DIY weddings I’ve seen in a while. You captured it beautifully Rosie.
I love this wedding! The flowers, the colors, and so many great ideas. The botanical book pages as a photobooth backdrop is brilliant, and really beautiful.
All the detail is incredible! Beautiful!
First, what a stunning wedding. Everything looks perfect.
Secondly, was brought here from pinterest, where I was totally surprised to see an almost identical backdrop to the one I have in my home, to photography my vintage pieces:
