“A midsummer night’s dream”… that is how I feel about this session!
Kimberly contacted me a year ago, asking if I would photograph her and her husband Jim. I did not hesitate at all! I’ve known Kimberly in the photography world for a long time now. She is also a mother of 4 boys, despite that we both share a love for all things pink, lacy, floral, soft, and romantic pastel hues! She wanted a session filled with beautiful props, gorgeous flowers, stunning vintage gowns, and that warm evening glow! I’d say she nailed it!
Kimberly also asked me to be creative; use lots of blur, far away shots mixed with details of all her fun props! It’s always a huge honour when someone travels to get their pictures taken, even more so when the client is a talented photographer themselves!
We started the session in an old home with lots of evening light flooding through the windows and porch.
Kimberly has the most amazing collection of gowns and shoes! Jim looking pretty dapper in his outfit as well!
This lone tree on a prairie lane was perfect for the remainder of the session.
Kimberly brought her collection of beautiful pastel coloured vintage radios! So of course I had to use them!
They rode their tandem bike, danced and laughed while Kimberly twirled her heart out!
