Let’s Get Cozy! Part 1

A cozy fall bachelorette party!

You’re invited to Jenny’s Bachelorette!

I shot this cozy fall bachelorette party back in October; recently featured on 1oo Layer Cake Here!

Jessie from One Plus One Design and I started discussing the options and throwing around ideas for this party throughout the summer! We thought it would be a great idea to do something fun and a bit different. Plus a wonderful opportunity to work with and get to know other local vendors. Jessie set out designing the above invites and all the other stationary seen throughout this shoot and from that our theme came to life! Lots of warm colours, quilts, pillows, yummy food, cakes and the wonderful backdrop who goes by the name Olive! Olive is a mobile shop/trailer owned by the talented girls; Erin and Stef from Oh so Lovely Vintage. Erin and Stefanie did an amazing job styling the shoot and dragging out a ton of props in their car. My sister Layna graciously hosted the party on her gorgeous wooded property!

Rosella from Rosella’s Lane sewed these beautiful pillow cases for this shoot! They added the perfect touch!

My husband Mark was the gourmet chef behind the scenes. Serving up delicious platters of french onion soup in bread bowls, spinach dip, and steak sliders just to name a few!

The girls had a great time sipping tea and getting cozy with all the quilts, throws, and cushions!

Stay tuned for part 2 of this party, which includes some fun cake decorating!

    Good Afternoon Rosie,

I am writing a piece for my blog and the topic is diving into nontraditional bachelorette parties, and my favorite theme- Camping. I ran across your gorgeous shoot and was wondering if I would be able to use the images while of course giving you and all vendors involved proper credit.

Please let me know, and thank you in advance for the consideration!

    Kind Thoughts,
    Ashlyn
