Favorite Things Friday!

Did I really miss 2 Fridays? I believe we were gone both those weekends. It’s January! The days are getting longer… I think, uh hope. Atleast so the calendar says, and I choose to believe!

Today’s favorite things is not a “thing”. It’s all about Mandy Lynne!! She is one of THE most talented people I’ve met through photography! Not only is she a talented photographer but oh so VERY creative! If you don’t have her blog bookmarked, you should do so now! On Tuesday I received a gorgeous little parcel in the mail! I didn’t open it for 2 days, had it sitting by my laptop and just stared at the lovely packaging. LOL. Yes, I have an appreciation for pretty things! When I finally did open it, I had my camera on hand. These are cards featuring her beautiful photography and they came in this gorgeous sewn envelope. I love all the details, especially the fabric button. So pretty!

Vera and I decided to create something for this week’s collaboration! I created a very easy DIY fabric wreath and she crafted a gorgeous hair clip! And of course I love how we chose similar colours for our projects!

I’ve been wanting to throw together a quick review of 2010. I had barely started and realized it wasn’t going to be quick. I cannot even believe how many pictures I have to sort through. But here we go, some of my favs!

Since we are enjoying winter break, Vera and I thought we’d put to use some of the candy that seems to collect in mountains during the holidays!

Collaboration # 17! Keep in mind, we each go take our own pictures without knowing what the other will do or how they will process theirs! I love how again and again we think the same. Smiling little girls in white scarves in the snow!

We just got back from spending 4 days in Saskatchewan with my sister and her sweet family. Now going to enjoy the rest of the holidays at home with my boys!!

As promised, here is Karlee! I really don’t feel I need to say much. She is gorgeous. Period.

We headed out on a frosty, snowy Saturday morning in late November! Trudging through knee deep snow in search of some winter wonderland. Enjoy the pictures!
